The service
LOOP is a web-based note capture and task-tracking application operated by Marc Baill. It stores what a user sends it, sorts it, and shows it back. It is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. It is not a medical device and offers no medical advice.
A user may also call the LOOP number from the mobile number on their account: the call is recorded, the recording is kept in the user’s account and deleted from the carrier, and a confirmation is sent by text. Calls from any other number are rejected unanswered. Standard call rates may apply.
Text messaging programme
- Programme name: LOOP capture.
- Description: a user texts a note, photo or link to the LOOP number; the application saves it to the user’s LOOP account and replies with a confirmation of what was saved. LOOP also sends a daily summary of the user’s open items each morning, a short review each Sunday evening, and a reminder only when the user asked for one. No marketing or promotional messages.
- How to opt in: text START to the LOOP number from the mobile number on your LOOP account. By texting START to the LOOP number you agree to receive automated text messages from LOOP, including note confirmations and a daily summary. The call to action is published at www.loopadhd.com/sms. Only the mobile number on a LOOP account can opt in; there is no public sign-up.
- Message frequency: varies with use — one confirmation per note you send, plus the scheduled summaries and reminders. A typical day is under ten messages.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop: reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation and nothing further. Reply START to opt back in.
- For help: reply HELP.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your content
What you send to LOOP stays yours. LOOP stores it so it can show it back to you and does nothing else with it. See the privacy policy for what is collected and how it is kept.
Acceptable use
Do not send LOOP anything you are not entitled to send, and do not attempt to reach another person’s LOOP account. Messages from numbers not registered to an account are discarded.
Changes
These terms and the privacy policy may change; the date at the top says when. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
